Jal Shakti Hackathon–2025 and Bharat-WIN Portal launched to support water innovation with grants-in-aid

Key facts

• The Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) launched the Jal Shakti Hackathon–2025 and the Bharat-WIN Portal under the National Water Mission.
• Winning participants will receive a ₹1 lakh grant for developing a Proof-of-Concept (PoC).
• The portal is open to startups, MSMEs, research institutions, young innovators, rural youth, women-led enterprises, academia, and global collaborators.
• The National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee, is the designated Project Implementation Agency (PIA).
