SATYA Portal launched to digitise STQC certification services

Key facts

• Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Jitin Prasada, inaugurated the STQC Lab Automation Portal – SATYA under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
• The SATYA portal provides a single, integrated, user-friendly digital platform for end-to-end automation of laboratory and certification processes of the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate.
• The portal reduces manual intervention, improves turnaround time, and enhances transparency across all stages of testing and certification.
• It lowers procedural and compliance burdens for startups and MSMEs, enabling quicker market entry for products meeting quality and security standards.
• SATYA aligns with Digital India, Minimum Government – Maximum Governance, and Ease of Doing Business initiatives.
