- Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 22nd instalment of PM-KISAN at 5:00 PM on 13 March 2026 from Guwahati, Assam.
- Over 9.32 crore farmer families received more than Rs 18,640 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- The cumulative amount disbursed under PM-KISAN since February 2019 will reach Rs 4.27 lakh crore after this instalment.
- Each eligible farmer receives Rs 6,000 per year in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000.
