The project cost is around ₹12,000 crore.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the corridor as a gamechanger for western Uttar Pradesh.
The corridor is expected to reduce travel time and logistics costs, and connect Saharanpur’s woodcraft, Meerut’s sports goods and regional agricultural produce to global markets.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) executed the project under the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
