ONESTRUCTION Inc. and DataKaveri Systems signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate construction data into AI-ready urban data exchanges across Indian and Japanese cities.
DataKaveri Systems is the commercial arm of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru's Centre of Data for Public Good (CDPG).
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the inaugural Japan-India AI Strategic Dialogue.
The partnership aims to connect the openBIM platform of ONESTRUCTION, which uses the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) open data standard, with the Intelligent Universal Data Exchange (IUDX).
The IUDX is currently operational across 55 smart cities in India, covering urban mobility, utilities, environment, and public services.
