Jordan confirmed its membership in three India-led global initiatives: International Solar Alliance (ISA), Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), and Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA).
The formal membership documents were handed over by the Ambassador of Jordan to India, Yousef Abdelghani, to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Secretary (South), Neena Malhotra, in New Delhi.
On April 20, South Korea joined the ISA and the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative (IPOI).
India and South Korea decided to elevate their bilateral relationship to a futuristic partnership.
The ISA is a platform to accelerate solar deployment and support the global transition to sustainable energy systems, according to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
