  • The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched the third edition of the AICTE-VAANI (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages) scheme.
  • The scheme provides an annual financial assistance of ₹4 crore to support 200 conferences, seminars, and workshops, with each selected institution receiving ₹2 lakh.
  • Events under the AICTE-VAANI will be conducted over two to three days in 22 regional languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Urdu.
