Andhra Pradesh 'Farm to Home' model and Purvodaya scheme for horticulture development

• Andhra Pradesh is implementing a "farm to home" model to ensure fruits and vegetables reach consumers directly from farmers through Farmers' Producer Organisations (FPOs).
• The Rayalaseema region will be developed as a horticulture hub under the Purvodaya scheme with ₹40,000 crore in government investments for infrastructure and ₹60,000 crore in private investments.
• The state government approved the procurement of 200 mechanised boats for coastal fishermen at an estimated cost of ₹240 crore.
