IEPFA and Prasar Bharati MoU for investor awareness campaign

• The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), functioning under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prasar Bharati.
• The partnership aims to strengthen investor awareness initiatives through informative scroll messages on Doordarshan’s national and regional channels.
• The campaign will disseminate information on investor protection, safe investing practices, and reclaiming unclaimed dividends and shares transferred to the IEPFA.
• The initiative encourages investors to utilise the Search Facility and submit claims through Form IEPF-5.
• The agreement was signed by Lt. Col. Aditya Sinha, General Manager of IEPFA, and Sanjay Prasad, Deputy Director General of Prasar Bharati (Sales).
