India, United States, Japan, and Australia convene 11th Quad Foreign Ministers Meeting in New Delhi on 26 May 2026

• External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar, United States (US) Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Japan’s ⁠Toshimitsu Motegi, and Australia’s Penny Wong attended the meeting at Hyderabad House.
• India and the US signed a bilateral framework to secure the supply and processing of critical minerals and rare earths on the sidelines of the summit.
• The Quad announced the Ports of the Future Partnership, which includes a pilot project to upgrade port infrastructure in Fiji to address insufficient capacity in the Pacific Islands.
• The Indo-Pacific Maritime Surveillance Cooperation (IPMSC) initiative was launched to integrate surveillance capabilities and strengthen real-time information sharing across the region.
• The Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) initiative will be expanded to provide near-real-time commercial maritime data to countries throughout the Indo-Pacific.
