Sahdev Yadav Elected President of South Asian Weightlifting Federation (SAWF)

• Yadav currently serves as the president of the Indian Weightlifting Federation.
• Yadav holds additional positions as the treasurer of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), vice-president of the Commonwealth Weightlifting Federation, and assistant to the president of the Asian Weightlifting Federation.
• Sabina Yadav, the joint secretary of the Indian Weightlifting Federation and member of the Innovation Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation, was appointed as the chief executive officer of the SAWF.
• The newly elected office-bearers of the SAWF include general secretary Ram Krishna Sreshtha, vice-presidents Ibrahim Hameed and Sanka Ratnayake, and executive board member Shahria Sultana.
