- Vietnamese President To Lam will undertake a State visit to India from May 5 to 7 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced.
- President To Lam, who also serves as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including ministers, senior officials, and a business delegation.
- During the visit, President To Lam will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 6 and will hold wide-ranging discussions with Prime Minister Modi covering bilateral relations and regional/global issues.
- President Droupadi Murmu will also meet the visiting leader, and President To Lam will visit Bodh Gaya and Mumbai as part of his itinerary.
