Chief Minister's Sugam Parivahan Seva: Madhya Pradesh to Launch State-Run Bus Service

• Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the phased launch of a state-run bus service titled the Chief Minister's Sugam Parivahan Seva.
• The initiative aims to provide safe and modern transport to connect interior regions of the state as well as neighbouring states.
• Women are scheduled to begin travelling in these state transport buses by the Rakshabandhan festival on 28 August.
• The state has been divided into seven regions for the service: Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Sagar, Gwalior, and Rewa.
• A total of 620 routes have been identified connecting seven cities and regional headquarters to district headquarters across Madhya Pradesh.
