Google signs $920 million monthly cloud computing deal with SpaceX

• Google has entered into a Cloud Service Agreement with SpaceX to pay $920 million per month for computing power from October 2026 through June 2029.
• According to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the deal provides access to approximately 110,000 NVIDIA Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Central Processing Units (CPUs), and related memory components.
• The agreement allows either party to terminate the contract with a 90-day notice period after 31 December 2026, while Google retains ownership of its Artificial Intelligence (AI) models and data.
• The deal aims to provide bridge capacity for Google Cloud to support surging demand for its Gemini Enterprise agent platform and recently launched AI products.
• SpaceX also maintains a separate $1.25 billion monthly compute deal with Anthropic for its Colossus 1 data centre, bringing the combined monthly revenue from both firms to $2.17 billion.
