- The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India and the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Israel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in public sector auditing.
- The agreement was signed during a bilateral meeting between the CAG of India, K Sanjay Murthy, and the State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel, Matanyahu Englman.
- The MoU establishes a framework for the exchange of professional knowledge, methodologies, technical expertise, training opportunities, and best practices in public sector auditing.
