- India and the United Kingdom (UK) launched the Critical Minerals Global Supply Chain Observatory (GSCO).
- The GSCO is a joint initiative of the Technology Innovation in Exploration and Mining Foundation (TEXMiN) and the University of Cambridge.
- TEXMiN is a Technology Translational Research Park established by the Department of Science and Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad.
- The initiative aims to advance the objectives of the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) and the India–UK Technology Security Initiative.
- The project was announced during the India–UK Prime Ministers’ bilateral engagement in October 2025 and formalised via a research collaboration agreement in March 2026.
