India launched Operation Amistad to send a specialised Indian Army (IA) medical contingent and humanitarian assistance to earthquake-hit Venezuela.
Two Indian Air Force (IAF) C-17 Globemaster planes were deployed to carry the medical team and nearly six tonnes of humanitarian aid.
