A rare species of yellow puffball mushroom, provisionally identified as Bovista colorata, was discovered in Zedua village of Longding district, Arunachal Pradesh.
The specimen was documented by a team from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (ICAR-KVK) during a field survey.
The initial identification was carried out by Dr. Deep Narayan Mishra, Subject Matter Specialist in Plant Pathology at KVK Longding.
