- Indian Railways approved a ₹206-crore project to install Kavach Version 4.0 on 680 route kilometres (RKm) in the Delhi Division of Northern Railway.

- Kavach is an indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system designed to prevent train collisions and Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) incidents.
