Punjab Government Launches Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students for 2026-27

• The Punjab government has opened the application process for the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste (SC) students for the 2026-27 academic session.
• Applications are being accepted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) from 1 July 2026, with the final submission deadline set for 15 November 2026.
• Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities Minister Dr Baljit Kaur announced that students with errors in their applications can make corrections until 30 November 2026.
• Educational institutions are required to complete institute-level verification by 30 November, while final scrutiny by District, State, and Ministry Nodal Officers will conclude by 15 December 2026.
