BEL and Esri India Sign MoU to Develop GIS and GeoAI Solutions for Defence Sector

• Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Esri India Technologies Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Location Intelligence, and GeoAI solutions for India's defence sector.
• The MoU aims to combine BEL's expertise in defence electronics and systems integration with Esri India's capabilities in GIS, location intelligence, and GeoAI.
• The partnership will focus on timely availability and deployment of GIS-based solutions to support urgent operational requirements across India's defence initiatives.
• Esri India will provide training support to BEL to build in-house capabilities in GIS and GeoAI using its Indo ArcGIS platform.
• The MoU was exchanged between BEL's Director (Bangalore Complex) Rajnish Sharma and Esri India's Managing Director Agendra Kumar.
