FIFA Unveils 2027 Women’s World Cup Schedule

• The 2027 Women’s World Cup will be the 10th edition of the tournament and the first to be staged in South America.
• The tournament will run from June 24 to July 25, 2027, with 64 matches played across eight host cities.
• Brazil will open the tournament at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro on June 24, before playing their remaining group-stage matches in São Paulo on June 29 and in Brasília on July 4.
• The eight host cities are Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo.
• Each host city will stage at least seven matches, including at least one knockout fixture.
• The Maracanã will host the final and one semi-final, while São Paulo will host the other semi-final and the bronze-medal match.
• Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo will host quarter-final matches, while Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador will host matches through the Round of 16.
• The Maracanã will become only the third stadium to host both a men’s and a women’s FIFA World Cup final, after Råsunda Stadium and the Rose Bowl.
