Government Approves 31 Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) Projects Worth ₹7,877 Crore

• The ECMS was notified in April 2025 with an incentive outlay of ₹22,919 crore and was later raised to ₹40,000 crore.
• The ECMS has so far approved 106 proposals spanning nearly 30 product segments and 15 states.
• The approved ECMS proposals have committed ₹69,548 crore in investment, exceeding the initial target of ₹59,350 crore.
• Kaynes Technology is expanding capabilities in printed circuit boards and associated materials.
• Dixon Technologies is investing in components used in smartphones and other electronic products in Noida.
