MC²+ Ignite, an accelerator programme by the energy innovation platform MC²+, has been launched to support energy deep-tech startups.
The inaugural cohort will include approximately 30 startups, each eligible for up to ₹2 crore in milestone-linked convertible funding.
The programme provides access to R&D infrastructure, technical expertise, industry mentors, pilot opportunities, and commercial pathways.
MC²+ has partnered with IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, C-CAMP, and Venture Center, Pune.
The programme will operate through a hub in Delhi and nodes within R&D centres of participating oil and gas companies.
Applications for the inaugural cohort are open from 5 August 2026 to 31 August 2026, with selected startups announced on 15 September 2026.
