Chhattisgarh Cabinet Clears CM Startup and NIPUN Mission with Rs 500 Crore Outlay

• The Chhattisgarh cabinet approved the Chief Minister Startup and NIPUN Mission with a budget of Rs 500 crore for the next five years.
• The mission will establish entrepreneurship development centres, 100 emerging technology labs, and five industry excellence centres across all 33 districts.
• Through the NIPUN JOB Engine, youth will receive industry-tailored skill training and expanded formal employment opportunities.
• The cabinet also approved the Chhattisgarh Export Promotion Policy 2026-30 to develop the state into a leading export hub with better market access and logistics infrastructure.
• A National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) will be set up in Naya Raipur Atal Nagar on 10 acres of free land in Tendua village at a cost of about Rs 200 crore, training 1,000 trainees annually through long-term and 3,000 through short-term programs.
• The maximum age limit for government employees applying for other government services and higher positions was raised from 38 to 45 years.
• A new district court building will be constructed in Durg on four hectares near BIT College in Titurdih village, with 5.024 hectares of government land in Pahanda village allotted in exchange to the Bhilai Steel Plant.
