• India defeated Sri Lanka in the final of the Women's Asia Cup 2026 at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday to win a record-extending eighth title.
• India is the most successful team with eight titles (2004, 2005-06, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2022), while Bangladesh (2018) and Sri Lanka (2024) have won once each; only India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have won the title since the first edition in 2004.
• This was India's fourth T20 Asia Cup crown, and under the ODI format, in place till 2008, India was the only team to win the tournament.
