  • Shri Shaktikanta Das, Principal Secretary-2 to the Prime Minister, launched the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) portal on data harmonisation at qpr.mospi.gov.in.
  • The QPR portal enables ministries to report dataset cataloguing, metadata preparation, use of common unique identifiers and quality checks under the Statistical Quality Assurance Framework (SQAF), with automated validation and cross-verification against the NMDS portal.
  • Ministries were urged to set up Data Governance Committees, publish data-sharing frameworks, maintain live dataset inventories and use platforms such as API Setu, data.gov.in, NDAP, AI Kosh, DigiLocker and Entity Locker.
