- Munitions India Limited (MIL), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, signed an MoU with Drogo Aerospace Private Limited for collaboration in design, development and integration of indigenous UAVs and loitering munition systems.
- Drogo Aerospace will focus on design, development and manufacturing of UAV platforms and associated empty-payload hardware, while MIL will contribute expertise in defence munitions and warhead technologies.
- MIL is headquartered in Pune and was established in 2021 following the restructuring of the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board into seven separate public sector undertakings.
- The collaboration will include munition–UAV integration, safety evaluation, field and range trials, and quality certification.
