L3Harris Technologies has been selected by the United States Navy to deliver its VAMPIRE (Vehicle-Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment) counter-unmanned systems for littoral defence against drone threats.
The VAMPIRE system is a self-contained weapons solution providing advanced reconnaissance and precision strike against drones and remotely piloted platforms.
L3Harris is also delivering VAMPIRE systems to the United States Army and earlier this year unveiled Wraith Shield software, a radio-as-a-sensor capability that can be combined with VAMPIRE and Drone Guardian systems for layered defence against unmanned threats.
