• Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the month-long 'Service Sankalp' campaign to be organised across the state from September 17 to October 17, 2026, beginning on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
• The campaign aims to connect citizens with the resolve of Viksit Bharat 2047 through service, public participation, dialogue and innovation.
• 11 major programmes have been proposed under the campaign, involving students, youth, women, beneficiaries, public representatives, social organisations and citizens.
• Key programmes include Ashirwad Ka Diya (lamp-lighting at scheme centres and religious sites), Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva (painting, essay and speech competitions), Angan Milan Seva (Anganwadi activities), Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra, Seva Setu camps, and the Service First Innovation Challenge with IITs and IIMs proposed as jurors and mentors.
