Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan released the book 'Bhupen Hazarika: Hundred Years of a Wandering Songs', edited by Ankuran Dutta and Nani Gopal Mahanta, marking Bhupen Hazarika's centenary.
He also released the fifth revised and enlarged edition of 'Chandrakanta Abhidhan', an Assamese lexicon.
The book release took place at a programme at Gauhati University on September 7, 2026, where the Vice-President described Assam-Tamil literary exchanges as an expression of India's cultural unity.
