- The 150th Shree Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan got off to a warm start with mangal dhwani of shehnai from grounds of the Shri Devi Talab Mandir here today.
- Arrangements have been made to accommodate 2,000 people in a 90 by 180 feet pandal, at the Shree Devi Talab Mandir grounds in Jalandhar, for the sangeet sammelan.
- A 15-feet monument featuring a sitar, veena and tabla has been constructed as a tribute to Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan completing its 150 years at Doaba Chowk, closest to Devi Talab Mandir.
- The sammelan is dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and also to Banaras Gharana virtuoso Pt Chhannulal Mishra who passed away earlier this year.
