The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) launched an online module on the National Single Window System (NSWS) for digital generation of sponsorship letters for the e-Production Investment Business Visa (e-B-4 Visa).
The facility is open to both production-linked incentive (PLI) beneficiary firms and non-PLI companies.
Foreign professionals can use the digitally generated sponsorship letters to apply for e-visas and visit Indian manufacturing facilities for services such as machine installation, quality checks, training and plant design.
