• The Department of Posts (India Post) inaugurated Jammu & Kashmir’s first “Gen Z Post Office” at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Vijaypur campus on December 17, 2025.
• The initiative aims to transform traditional postal counters into youth-centric, technology-enabled service hubs tailored to the evolving needs of Generation Z.
• The facility provides integrated access to postal, banking, and insurance services under one roof, with support from the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).
