India and Jordan sign five MoUs after PM Modi–King Abdullah II talks in Amman

• India and Jordan signed five MoUs covering technical cooperation in new and renewable energy, water resources management, twinning of Petra and Ellora, renewal of the Cultural Exchange Programme 2025-2029, and cooperation on population-scale digital solutions.
• PM Modi proposed raising India-Jordan bilateral trade to USD 5 billion over the next five years from the present USD 2.8 billion.
• Both leaders reiterated their shared stand against terrorism, extremism and radicalisation.
