German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will visit India from January 12 to 13, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
The Chancellor will be received by PM Modi in Ahmedabad on January 12 for the former's first visit to the country.
During his two-day visit, Chancellor Merz will also be travelling to Bengaluru.
