• India will showcase its military might in a phased battle array format during the 77th Republic Day parade, the first such event after Operation Sindoor.
• The newly-raised Bhairav light commando battalion will make its debut in the parade, marching in ‘Uncha Kadam taal’.
• Military assets will be displayed in the specific sequence they would appear during actual combat, starting with reconnaissance followed by logistics and armored units.
• The Indian Army will be represented by a mounted column of 61 Cavalry and seven marching contingents.
• The display will feature indigenous platforms including the Main Battle Tank (MBT) Arjun, NAMIS-II Nag Missile System, ATAGS, and Dhanush artillery.
• Advanced technology on display includes the Integrated Operational Centre (IOC), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), robotic mules, and robotic dogs.
