The second edition of the New Delhi World Para Athletics Grand Prix will be held from 11 to 13 March 2026.
Around 257 athletes from eight nations—India, Russia, Nepal, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Serbia, Bosnia, and Egypt—will compete.
Team India will field the largest contingent with approximately 219 athletes.
Top Indian para-athletes including Mariyappan Thangavelu, Sumit Antil, Praveen Kumar, Ajeet Singh, Devendra Singh Gurjar, Ankur Dhama, Simran, and Preeti Pal are expected to compete.
A total of 74 international classification slots will be available: 39 for athletes with physical impairments, 29 for vision impairments, and 6 for intellectual impairments.
The previous 2025 edition saw India top the medal tally with 134 medals (45 gold, 40 silver, 49 bronze).
