  • The National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) announced the launch of the first-ever Annual Survey of Incorporated Services Sector Enterprises (ASISSE).
  • The survey has its first reference period of 2024-25 and is scheduled to commence from April 2026 across all states and Union Territories.
  • The NSO will use the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) database as a sampling frame to survey more than 1.21 lakh enterprises.
