AYUSHEXCIL and Spices Board of India Sign MoU for Global Wellness Leadership

• The Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL) and the Spices Board of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi to integrate India's wellness traditions with modern global markets.
• The MoU was formally signed by Dr Anurag Sharma, Chairman of AYUSHEXCIL, and Shri M. S. Manivannan, Secretary of the Spices Board of India, in the presence of Union Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav.
• A key component of the partnership is the Spice and Heal initiative, which serves as a global branding campaign to combine the medicinal value of Indian spices with the therapeutic strengths of Ayurveda.
• The collaboration focuses on quality enhancement, scientific validation, product traceability, and international market development for herbal extracts, nutraceuticals, and advanced Ayurvedic formulations.
• The agreement aims to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), startups, and rural communities by establishing internationally accepted quality benchmarks and regulatory frameworks.
