The test of the Agni-1 missile was conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a flight-trial of an advanced Agni missile featuring the Multiple Independently Targeted Re-Entry Vehicle (MIRV) system from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha.
