Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) Launched with ₹33,660 Crore Outlay for 100 Industrial Parks

• Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal launched the BHAVYA Portal in New Delhi to operationalise the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA).
• The Union Cabinet approved BHAVYA with an outlay of ₹33,660 crore to develop 100 investment-ready, world-class industrial parks over a period of six years.
• The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) will implement the scheme under a 51:49 partnership model with state governments, following guidelines from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
• The industrial parks will provide infrastructure including assured water and power supply, road and rail connectivity, and digital single-window clearances, with sizes ranging from 25 to 1,000 acres.
• Applications for the first phase of 20 parks are open from June 1 to July 31, while the second phase of 30 parks will consider applications received up to September 30.
