• Chandigarh University (CU) has established the 'IndiaAI Data Lab' in collaboration with Intel India, becoming the first private university in India to do so.
• The lab is located at the University Institute of Computing (UIC) and provides students with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and emerging technologies.
• CU has launched MCA (Data Science) and BCA (Data Science) programmes in association with Intel India, where students can earn Intel Certifications every semester.
• The institution conducted a Summer School Programme titled 'AI for Future Workforce', which trained over 2,000 students from MCA, BCA, and Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programmes.
• CU is a NAAC A+ Grade and QS World Ranked autonomous institution approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and located in Punjab.
