Key facts

Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena dedicated 15 Common Facility Centres (CFCs) across the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The CFCs aim to strengthen micro-enterprises, generate livelihood opportunities for women and youth, and reduce migration from remote areas.
These centres will function as shared workspaces for weavers, spinners, tailors, artisans, and women Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
The initiative is designed to promote handloom activities, local entrepreneurship, and skill development while enabling local products to access national and international markets.
The 15 CFCs are located at Skurbuchan, Wanla, Saspol, Chuchot, Kharu, Anlay, Koyul, Korzok, Chushul, Phobrang, Sato, Panamik, Diskit, Turtuk, and Digger.
