The first Made-in-India Airbus C295 military transport aircraft successfully completed its maiden test flight from the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Vadodara, Gujarat.

This project involves the manufacturing of 40 C295 aircraft in India, marking the first instance of a military aircraft being produced in the country by the private sector.
The C295 transport plane is expected to replace the existing An-32 transport aircraft within the IAF fleet.
