India's SMPP delivers 106 Peacekeeper (Agniveg) kamikaze drones to Indian Army on 12 June 2026

• SMPP, an Indian defence manufacturer, completed the delivery of 100 operational Peacekeeper (Agniveg) jet-based drones and six training drones to the Indian Army.
• The Peacekeeper (Agniveg) is a turbojet-powered kamikaze drone system designed to engage high-value targets with an operational range of approximately 180 km.
• The drone system demonstrated a Circular Error Probable (CEP) of less than 5 metres during user trials conducted in heavily-jammed and spoofed environments.
• The system is capable of reaching speeds of up to 450 kmph and is designed to conduct autonomous precision strike missions against military infrastructure and radar installations.
• The delivery of the entire drone consignment was completed within a timeframe of six months to enhance the indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem of India.
