India successfully flight-tested the indigenously developed Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) on 15 June 2026.
The missile was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The LRLACM is capable of striking targets beyond 1,000 km.
The test was conducted in full operational configuration from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast.
The DRDO also recently conducted three consecutive tests of next-generation ballistic missile defence (BMD) interceptors and the maiden flight test of the Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Medium Range (NASM-MR).
