India to host BRICS National Security Advisers' Meeting on June 22 and 23

• India will host the BRICS National Security Advisers' (NSA) Meeting on June 22 and 23, with National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval chairing the deliberations.
• The meeting will focus on the theme Non-traditional security challenges confronting the world today and the role of emerging technologies in shaping new security threats.
• Participants will review the outcomes of the BRICS Joint Working Groups on Counter-Terrorism and on Security in the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
• India will assume the BRICS Chairship for the fourth time in 2026, guided by the theme Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.
• The BRICS grouping comprises 11 emerging economies: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
