Oil India Limited (OIL) partners with Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) for clean energy innovation

• The partnership focuses on carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), geothermal energy, clean energy technologies, and startup-led innovation.
• The framework covers the permanent geological storage of captured carbon dioxide, mineralisation of CO₂ in geological formations, and innovative enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.
• Both organisations will conduct joint research on subsurface energy production and storage through the Energy Innovation Hub of PTRC.
• The partnership includes collaborative research with mc2+, a startup platform launched by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to support innovation in clean energy technologies.
