T-Mobile USA, through TMUS Global Solutions Technology, has opened its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) outside the United States in Hyderabad.
The new facility in Hitech City covers 2.5 lakh square feet and is projected to employ approximately 1,000 people by 2027.
The centre will focus on developing capabilities in software engineering, cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and cybersecurity.
TMUS Global Solutions has already onboarded over 500 professionals at the Hyderabad hub to support global operations and customer experience.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu stated that the city is home to over 450 GCCs employing more than 3 lakh professionals.
